Annotation
We connect Vltava river with The Old Town. We strive for a comprehensive solution of the area. We support the character of the Monastery of Agnes and complete the atmosphere of the place.
Jury evaluation
The clear volume bordering that sacred, but nowadays bleak place, creates the place of silence and spiritual concentration. The delicate and dreamy presentation brings the atmosphere where a simple look of modern architecture goes hand in hand with the figures of sacral painting. The jury appreciates the simple disposition of hostel for pilgrims, the work with a sloping area and the connection with Vltava river. The author team got the relation between complexity of a plot and construction programme in a point, where the final design does not need any finishing touches. The design is worthy of being on this plot.
